STRANGER THINGS at Karlovy Vary IFF

We’re thrilled to announce that Stranger Things will have its International Premiere at the 46th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

The film will show in the prestigious competitive section Forum of Independents, where films compete for the Independent Camera Award. Last year’s winner was Christopher Morris’ darkly hilarious Four Lions, which also starred our very own Adeel Akhtar.

In addition to being an amazing celebration of world cinema, the festival promises to be a star-studded affair: Dame Judi Dench will be presenting the opening night film (Cary Fukunaga’s Jane Eyre), and actors John Malkovich and John Turturro and cult director/producer Monte Hellman will be in attendance.

We’re heading off to the Czech Republic in two weeks, and would love to see you at the festival. So if you’re in the Czech Republic, please drop by…

Our screening times are:

  • Saturday July 2 @ 6:30pm, Small Hall
  • Sunday July 3 @ 10:00pm, Espace Dorleans Cinema

We also have a Press and Industry Screening Saturday July 2 @ 10:30am.
