We’re excited to announce that Stranger Things co-director Eleanor Burke has been selected for the Edinburgh International Film Festival Talent Lab. This is the lab’s inaugural year, and Eleanor was one of 35 filmmakers from around the world invited to participate in this program which connects emerging filmmaking talent with established industry professionals.

From the EIFF Talent Lab’s site:
Drawing on the Festival’s successful track record in talent development, the EIFF Talent Lab will lead participants in group discussions and networking events as well as hosting an invaluable afternoon of 1-2-1 advice and information sessions with experienced industry insiders, all with the aim of honing skills and building confidence within a new generation of filmmakers.

35 filmmakers have been selected to take part in the EIFF Talent Lab which will take place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 June 2011. Participants will also receive a full festival Industry pass to allow them to immerse themselves in all the events and passholder screenings on offer.
