Le Devoir Pick
The Canadian paper Le Devoir has picked Stranger Things as a must-see of the 35th Festival des films du monde (Montreal World Film Festival). Highlighting the “hidden pearls” outside the festival competition, François Lévesque writes:
The story of an unexpected bond that grows between a young woman in mourning, and a homeless man. This small-scale pas-de-deux is magnified by an infinitely delicate mise-en-scene and the natural performances of two extremely talented unknowns.
